Melbourne is constantly ranked as the most livable city in the world and as someone who has lived in Melbourne CBD for more than 4 years, it certainly feels like you just get too many perks while living in the middle of everything. During peak tourist season even walking outside the streets feel overwhelming because of how crowded everywhere is but once you live here long enough you start to take for granted alot of things that is extraordinary for someone who would come to visit this city as a tourist. You get to see live performance from many talented artists, you get to pick up freebies being given out around the city, any business imaginable is just a few minutes walk from your door steps and most importantly you get to witness directly what people are protesting about every Saturday (and sometimes just random times). You usually just don't think about all these things as they are something that I have been so accustomed to. However, I do like to carry my camera from time to time to take pictures of things happening on the streets of Melbourne.
This particular day my random walk around the streets of Melbourne carrying my new Nikon Zfc with the 16-50 kit lens I was on my way back to my apartment via the State Library of Victoria and while there are always things on display, people busking, protesting and distributing pamphlets and I usually walk past it, this particular display caught my eyes and because we had recently watched the entire Harry Potter Series, I quickly used my camera to capture this shot of the Harry Potter flying Ford Anglia 7990 TD. Just one of many perks of being right in the middle of all the chaos!
